Nobody can now say that working from home doesn’t work [Tony Crabbe, autor of ‘Busy: how to thrive in a world of too much’ and Busy@Home]

We have proven that as organizations, we can work successfully from home. We now have the chance to stand back and reflect on what we’ve experienced and learned in recent months. Let’s seize the moment to do just that!

According to Tony Crabbe, author and business psychologist, this is the perfect time to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of working from home in organizations, and explore what works and what doesn’t. Let’s make use of this unique opportunity to learn from these lessons before we fall back into old habits en masse.

It turns out that a lot of people actually accomplish more work now that they work from home. Tony also proposes that we aim less for perfection, because it can block creativity and innovation. If we accept a certain amount of uncertainty or discomfort as a natural part of life, it can open up creativity and innovation! Sloppiness is the new black! Give yourself room to move!
